Tecnomat opened its third Sicilian store in Palermo

Tecnomat opened its third Sicilian store in Palermo on November 19th.

This further strengthens the special bond between Tecnomat and Sicily: following those in Catania and Ragusa, the new store is located in Palermo on Strada statale 113 snc, Isola delle Femmine.

The opening of the new store in Palermo represents a significant investment in the Sicilian territory and translates into a substantial positive social impact with the creation of 125 new jobs.

This initiative not only meets the needs of a growing customer base but actively contributes to the economic development and employment in the region, strengthening the bond between the company and the local area.

The store covers a total sales area of 8,000 sqm (square meters), offering professionals and small businesses a modern distribution model focused on the sale of technical products for recurring use and finishing products for the maintenance, renovation, and construction of living spaces.

Tecnomat’s innovative wholesale and retail sales format allows it to be a key reference point for both private customers and professionals who need products in large quantities, at the best market price, and in a single location, enabling considerable time savings.

The store boasts over 25,000 technical and finishing products for recurring use, from the best professional brands, available in the plumbing, electrical, building materials, carpentry, sanitaryware, tiles, hardware, tools, and paint departments.

Designed with particular attention to environmental impact and the host community, the store meets the most rigorous European environmental sustainability and safety standards: it will be ISO 50001 certified, the international standard for rational energy management, which ensures a constant increase in efficiency; 100% of the electricity comes from renewable sources (GO certified) and only LED lighting is used, which is constantly monitored remotely to prevent any kind of waste.

The opening was preceded by an extraordinary preview event dedicated exclusively to professionals who hold a VAT number. On Monday the 17th, they had the opportunity to meet the Tecnomat store team, shop behind closed doors, and meet representatives from the best professional brands that participated in the event (Boero, Ica, Dewalt, Grohe, Kerakoll, Ideal Standard, Sicil Gesso, Velux, to name a few).

Tecnomat is a DIY chain, belonging to the Adeo group, which was born with the name Bricoman in 2008. In 2022 it changed its name and became Tecnomat. Today it has 32 stores.
