Action, the non-food discount chain, is continuing its expansion strategy in Italy.

The company is opening its second store in the province of Cosenza, in Bisignano, bringing the total number of Action stores in Italy to 184.

Starting from Thursday, October 9th, residents of Bisignano and the surrounding area can enjoy the Action Formula: a selection of 6,000 good-quality and increasingly sustainable products across 14 different merchandise categories (from toys to crafts, from household products to gardening, from DIY to food) at the lowest possible price. Action introduces 150 new products every week, ensuring a relevant assortment that meets various needs and preferences. More than two-thirds of the total products cost less than 2 euros.

Action consistently invests in product quality and sustainability, actively reducing greenhouse gas emissions from its operations. Initiatives adopted include eliminating gas connections in its stores by the end of 2024 and using LED lighting in all stores.

Furthermore, clear standards are adopted for supply and sourcing. Products are optimized by reducing their carbon footprint and improving their circularity. Examples include all Action-brand and generic-brand cotton products sourced sustainably: 99% under the Better Cotton program and the remaining 1% as organic cotton. 100% of the wood used in our products comes from sustainably managed forests, certified FSC® or PEFC. All cocoa used in Action-brand products has been Fairtrade certified since 2022.

Spacious and easily accessible, the new store measures approximately 850 square meters.
Action has hired a team of 20 employees to manage the store.
The store, located on Corso Italia, SP239 Bisignano, is open from Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 8:30 PM from Monday to Saturday, and from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Sundays.
